Stills in Solidarity – A visual story that explores the intimacy among girls and women.

The photos shared were captured during my photo walk/ exploration sessions in Nigeria and a photo shoot I was commissioned to do for a clients birthday. Irrespective of the situation, there is a commonality that exists in all photos. The bond that sisters share- one that exists when there is solidarity. In these pictures, I would like to point out that none of them featured are related by blood, but then again, a sisterhood is much more than blood. Sisters are God’s special gift, one that I was privileged to capture and share with you. Enjoy.

Beautiful! I agree sisterhood is so much more than being related by blood. My best friend and I closer than I am to my sister and it’s about the bond we share

Sisterhood can mean so many different things and is not defined by blood. I love the community in others countries because I believe they do things as a community compared to America culture is a very me/I culture.
